The Legacy is a cooperative survival game in the horror genre.

In 1990 a curse fell on our hometown, our grandfather, a local molfar and magician, according to a sinister tradition - once in 66 years should sacrifice one of his descendants to the dark forest forces, but he couldn't do it, so he sent me, my two brothers and sister to Kiev to protect us from the curse. He saved our lives, but doomed the city and its surroundings to death and destruction.....

Years passed, we have already become adults and built our own lives, but the memory of Svetlograd tormented our hearts. At one of the family dinners - we made a decision to return there and end the darkness forever, to free the city and give people the opportunity to live normally. Each of us has our own unique skills, strengths and weaknesses, so we complement each other perfectly. Having gathered some equipment - we went there, to the meeting...

Survival

In The Legacy - a detailed survival system, your character will need food, water, the cold climate of the autumn Carpathian Mountains - will force you to build a fire to keep warm, move more, or find shelter in the cold night. Also, your stamina depends on which character you have chosen and how full your backpack is. A bottle of energy drink can help you avoid stamina problems for a while.

When you run out of food and there is no gas station or other place where you can find food nearby, catch and cook a carp, or hunt down and kill a wild animal to cook juicy meat over a fire, in an oven or in a cauldron. Also, don't forget about mushrooms and apples.

Potions, Magic and Mysticism

Svetlograd is not just a city, and the settlements around it are not just small villages. Many local legends tell about mysticism, dark and light magic and mythical entities, so the inhabitants here are not simple. That's why in The Legacy you will find recipes for magic potions, information about dark entities and how to fight them, about rituals. Collect herbs, mushrooms and other ingredients. You will have the opportunity to learn the local mythology and fight evil with guns and bullets, or with rituals and potions.

Large open world, different locations

The game features a large open world, where you can explore different locations, while completing tasks and surviving. While exploring the game world - you will find notes of local residents, which will tell you various mystical stories about Svetlograd and its surroundings.

Also, when you start a new game - all game items (food, weapons, ammo, book pages, enemies, plants, mushrooms, animals, etc.) - appear in random places, it gives you the opportunity - to play each time a truly new and unique game, with an unpredictable ending.

Construction, resource extraction and item creation

Having tools, such as an axe or a knife - you can extract various resources, but if you do not have tools - try to break sticks with your bare hands, but be careful - you can easily cut yourself, then you will need bandages. Obtained resources - you can use them to create various items, as well as building your own house or base, camp.

In a team building a camp or a house is faster, when one player extracts resources, the second builds, and the third builds a fire and prepares food, so that after building a camp - you can start cooking a delicious dinner and replenish your strength before new adventures.
